Jackson, MS WOC Thank You Letter

What an unbelievable Event conducted in Jackson! Our last Weekend Event was 7 years ago and that’s too long. 1529 cried out to our Lord for help, hope, and reassurance. There are more souls in the kingdom and that “soul winner’s crown” has a few more jewels in it for all who participated.
My hat goes off to our Local Team for a job well done. Angie Pennock and Nancy Taylor headed the team, and from what I saw everything was moving like a well oiled machine. Right down to the color coded dots on our name tags.
Harold Willman, our regional Director does a tireless job year after year covering 7 states and we thank him for his dedication. Harold recruited Jim Harris, one of our Platform Guests to help direct this event. Harold and Jim both did an outstanding job.
Above all, of those factors that made this weekend such a great success was the hard work that you did in the “one on one” counseling. You added the personal touch. Without you we would be nothing! 35 years of leading our Teams into the prisons and jails has not become dull … every time I see the gleam in the freshmen’s eye after his/her first day out just revs my engine. I am looking forward to many years of ministry together.
Chip Miskelly is one of the new Jackson residents that has come on board…little did I know that he heard me speak when he was 10, and I was at Baylor. God’s timing is always right. Our ministry opportunities are increasing greatly because of our Teammates, Local Team, and the great relationship we have with MS Department of Corrections and the Hinds County Detention. We must return to Jackson more often.
More teammates …. More Souls for the Kingdom…. Until next time
